Le Bois-Plage, La Couarde.

Coming from the D.201 from la Couarde in the direction of le Bois-Plage, just before the road sign Le Bois-Plage, there is a turn to the right. This is a small road that is next to the camping Vitalys. Follow the road and you will reach the dunes/bunkers.
The battery (former French) is located in the dunes and you are really not supposed to walk there, but we did, carefully. The bunkers, two times M272 casemate and a M152 bunker were recently closed. At the back of the dunes there is a line of Wellblech shelters, barracks and other structures, most of them are closed, re-used or heavily damaged. The fire-directions came from a small French measuring post.
